Since I let my membership go by the wayside, Alex informed me a while back that the American Chemical Society would be hosting a winetasting at Rosenblum Cellars in Alameda. Since they specialize in Zinfandels and I happe to love zins, who was I to say no. The winetasting was on Saturday and it was quite enjoyable. I got the chance to talk to a bunch of older chemists from around the area in all sorts of fields of study, and enjoy some wine while I was at it. Who knows, maybe I'll even renew my membership. As always, my camera was with me, and I had fun walking around the winery with it unsupervised.
