The Macallan - 12 yr

This I find is the most accessible scotch whisky I have, and definately one of the first I reach for on any given night. A Highlands scotch that is full of vanilla, apple and pear; a very light fruitiness with only a hint of peat to remind you that it is still a scotch.
Glen Moragie 12yr - Port Wood Finish

Most Scotch whiskies tend to be aged in previously used bourbon or sherry casks. Depending on the barrels used, the whisky picks up different flavors, such as fruit or spice. By using the port casks after American oak, this whisky gets a unique flavor not found in many other bottles due to the sweeter port that was once spent time in the barrels. Interestingly, the flavors I detect are mint and a subtle chocolateliness, but maybe that's just me. I would definitely recommend trying this for something different.
Clynelish - 14 yr

This coastal scotch is about as smokey a scotch as I like, and I do like it. The fruitiness of The Macallan, but with more spice and a stronger smokiness to it that is still in balance with the rest of the drink. SImply a very balanced, flavorful whisky.
